About Us

Music on the Web has been online since 1997, making it one of the first UK Record and CD retailers to use the internet to trade.

Prior to this, trading had been via a shop in Epsom, Surrey, at Record Fairs throughout the UK and a highly successful traditional mail order company since 1984. Music on the Web is owned and run by Paul Rowley who has been collecting and dealing in Records and music memorabilia since the mid 1970's.

Whilst based in Surrey, UK items have been sent to over 50 countries Worldwide, using the British Royal Mail as its couriers. Our customers include the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) while compiling material for several music documentaries and nostalgia programmes, the Really Useful Theatre group in preparing an early Andrew Lloyd Webber CD Box set and several radio disc-jockeys use our service, particularly to obtain hard-to-get or unusual items for specialized programmes.

With hundreds of satisfied customers many of their comments regarding our service appear randomly on each page. It is well worth keeping in touch with Music on the Web by joining our mailing list as, on average each week over 250 items are being added onto our website.
